At the proposal of Acad.Prof.Dr. Volodymyr Zagorsky, Ukraine, Prof.Dr. Zoran
Govedar, Bosnia Herzegovina, Prof.Dr. Milan Medarevic, Serbia, on March 29, 2024,
the Board of the Council of European Foresters (C.E.F.) decided, according to the
provisions of article 5.2 of the C.E.F. Statute, the election of dipl.eng. Marian
Stoicescu, România, as President of the Order of Forestry Experts (O.F.E.).
The Order of Forestry Experts is founded by the Council of European Foresters, it
includes European forestry experts nominated and approved by the Board of the
Order of Forestry Experts and the Board of the Council of European Foresters and it
is the successor of the Advisory Group of Forestry Experts from Europe according to
the Resolution of the C.E.F. Board. from March 1, 2024. Organization and operation
of the O.F.E. at the European and global level is regulated by the Rules of
Organization and Functioning of the Order of Forestry Experts.
