RESOLUTION
I . CEF Board approved the Meeting Agenda:
1. Information of the CEF Presidency activity
2. Completion of CEF Statute
3. Establishing European Forestry Academic Society (EFAS) as part of CEF.
4. The Draft of Organisation and Functioning Rules of European Forestry Academic
Society (EFAS)
5. The election of the EFAS Board.
6. New CEF members
7. Others
II. CEF Board elected the CEF President for the period 01.01.2018 – 31.12.2018 Ali
Küçükaydin, President of the Turkish Forest Engineers Chamber.
III. CEF Board approved the completion and the modification to CEF Statute previsious:
2.10 to use the prestige and professional performance of CEF members within the
European Forestry Academic Society ( EFAS ) during contacts with the institutions,
organizations and personalities from Europe and other continents. CEF Board establishes EFAS.
The Organization and Functioning Rules of EFAS will be approved by CEF Board. The EFAS
Board will be elected by CEF Board.
3.3 The applications for membership shall be decided by simple majority of votes of CEF
Board. The membership applications of the organizations or associations of foresters shall be
decided by simple majority of votes of CEF Board after an analysis of the request presentation,
statute and the establishing official documents of them. The membership applications of other
organizations from the same country have to have the recommendation of the CEF member
organization from that country.
IV. CEF Board approved the establishing European Forestry Academic Society (EFAS) as part
of CEF.
V. CEF Board approved the Organization and Functioning Rules of EFASVI. CEF Board elected the EFAS Board.
For position:
ü Honor Presidents of EFAS, the CEF President will wait untill 31.01.2018 the proposals
from the CEF organization members.
ü EFAS President, the CEF Board elected Marian Stoicescu.
ü EFAS Vice-Presidents, CEF Board elected: Yuriy Tunytsya, Barbara Koch, Ali
Küçükaydin, Peter Dudas, Victor Sanaev, Zeljko Kalauz.
ü EFAS Board members: Cicerone Rotaru, Enrico Brugnoli, Taneli Kolstrom, Zoran
Govedar, Milan Medarevic, Anatolii Ciobanu.
VII. CEF Board approved the CEF membership application of the Federation for Defending of
the Forests from Romania.
CEF Board approved the next CEF Board meeting: April 2018 in Budapest.
